[from London to Phoenix] Luggage, Glasses, and the Gate part 2

continued from here…..

I quickly got out of the alley but I hadn’t decided what I’d do. I then caught a glimmer of a bunch of people sitting down at the waiting room. I was still ignorance on what they were waiting for. Then I saw two male, teenagers, walked close to the closed gate. One of them said, “Do you think we should get in?” “No, we’re not allowed,” the other replied. The the first teenager said, “But she got in.”

I suddenly realized that they were talking about me! She was me! And quickly I also realized that these people were waiting for my flight. I then saw a big clock hung not far from where I stood. 8:01 am! Oooh, the boarding wasn’t even started. It’s impossible for me to miss the flight!!! What is this about? All of my panicky modes and dramatic scenes of knocking the doors and crawling below the ‘do-not-cross’ lines all were useless? Arrrrrgggghhhhhh…….!!!!

Apparently KLM staffs hadn’t arrived yet. No wonder the desk was empty!

I then remembered about my glasses. Aha! There’s still time to look for it. I went to the security desk and reported that my glasses were left outside the boarding area. I informed that the glasses were possibly left at KLM desk. The security guy told me that he couldn’t do anything but the KLM customer service would be able to help me. The problem was KLM desk isn’t close….. it’s at Gate 19.

I was confused! 8:05, only 5 minutes before boarding…. and 35 minutes before taking off. Should I just let the glasses go? The signboard told me that it’d take about 10 minutes to get to Gate 19….. I might miss the flight if I tried to go there…. But I can run, right? Should I do it?

to be continued again, since I am called for boarding now…..
